Job Description:-

Intern – Certification Technical Directorate

Avionics and Electric team within the Certification Technical Directorate at Airbus India is looking for an intern to support the airworthiness activities on following topics:-

Avionics Pin Programming for a given customer configuration.

Electrical power centers configuration tables for a customer version.

Flight Management System.

As an Airworthiness Engineer (AE) you are expected to perform the following task:-

• Analyze/Assess the technical change with respect to the general aircraft system.
• Allocates the changes to him/herself in the Airbus tools as Airworthiness mod Leader.
• Reviews the change dossier from the Design Office, classifies the change with regard to EASA Part 21 criteria.  Within Airbus tool.
• Appraises the design change, identifies the applicable requirements within Airbus tool and verifies the compliance/justification to applicable requirements provided by the Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), if relevant.
• Creates the Modification Approval Summary (MAS) within Airbus tool, as Airworthiness Engineer (AE) or communicate specific refusal to the CVE and Design responsible.
• Knowledge of tools (AirCAM, ICC, ACC2, …)

Required Education: -

• B.Tech./M.Tech. in Aerospace, Avionics and/or Electrical,  Electronics, Mechanical

Required skills and expertise:-

• Basic aerospace domain knowledge
• General aircraft system knowledge
• Knowledge of control systems, flight control and guidance.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
• Exposure to Avionic and Electrical systems design is an added advantage.
• Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work well in a team environment
