Rackspace: Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Expense Management: Provide guidance on expense budgets and forecasts for corporate organizations.
• Budget Management: Manage the full life cycle of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and actual results with variance analysis and reporting.
• Expense Reduction: Assist in driving expense reduction efforts through effective information management and advice.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance processes and reporting to meet the needs of senior business partners.

Key Duties:

• Reporting: Maintain and enhance forecast to actual reporting.
• Financial Decision Support: Ensure business leaders make informed financial decisions to meet overall financial targets.
• Profitability Evaluation: Evaluate organization profitability and margins through objective data-driven analysis.
• Tool Enhancement: Improve tools to enhance understanding of financial performance by the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Finance/Economics.
• Master’s degree or 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferred.

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, cash management, and financial analysis processes.
• Self-starter with ownership mentality.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze data from both micro and macro perspectives.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and provide timely updates on work performed.

Salary:

• INR 4 Lakh plus variable benefits.
